Is Timing Everything?

Making Vaccination-Related Preventive Care Decisions Early in IBD

Infections are the most common significant adverse event among immunosuppressed patients with IBD. Even though the risk of serious infection increases with the number of immunosuppressive therapies, many infections are preventable with routine preventive immunizations. Many patients rely on their gastroenterologists for their routine immunization, therefore clinicians should be educated about the importance of routine and timely vaccination for all IBD patients. The goal of this CME activity is to provide clinicians with expert guidance on the ACG recommendations and guidelines pertaining to the need of vaccination in IBD patients, and how to implement these strategies for optimal clinical outcomes.

Join us for Is Timing Everything? Making Vaccination-Related Preventive Care Decisions Early in IBD on June 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM at the Renaissance Washington, DC.

Registration is Complimentary!
