Who Should Attend

The proposed activities are designed to address the needs of oncology nurses whose scope of practice involved the management of patients with metastatic breast cancer in the US.

Objectives

After successful completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Relate the mechanism of action for CDK 4/6 inhibitors to the rationale for their use as targeted therapy for ER+ MBC
  • Plan strategies for counseling patients on the effectiveness and safety of CDK 4/6 inhibitor therapy
  • Devise a plan for assessment, prevention, and management of adverse events in patients with ER+ MBC who are taking a CDK 4/6 inhibitor
